Stetson University Admissions and Acceptance Rate As two-thirds of applicants are admitted to Stetson University each year, students with good grades and strong writing skills have a good chance of being accepted to the school. Interested students will need to submit an application, official high school transcripts, letters of recommendation, and a writing sample. The other campuses are in Celebration, Tampa, and Gulfport. Founded in 1883, the university has a rich history and the DeLand campus is on the National Register of Historic Places.
